👤 ABOUT STEVE

I am a maths tutor with a background in education and professional work supporting diverse learners. I have worked across primary education, secondary support, adult learning, and community-based roles.

Before focusing on maths tutoring, I worked for many years as a qualified Occupational Therapist, supporting people with a wide range of learning, cognitive, and life challenges. I am not currently practising as an Occupational Therapist.

This background has given me a broad understanding of how people learn, where they can encounter barriers, and how teaching can be adapted when traditional approaches haven't worked for them.

My role is not to rush through content, but to build solid foundations and confidence.

I have experience working with children and adults across a wide range of abilities, including people with learning difficulties and additional support needs.

I believe everyone can learn maths with the right support, teaching style, and encouragement.
