Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I offer one-to-one online maths tutoring throughout New Zealand and internationally.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Yes, where suitable, I can offer in-person sessions in Christchurch. Availability depends on location and circumstances.

Do you work with adults?

Yes. I work with adults returning to maths as well as primary, intermediate and secondary school learners.

Do you offer group sessions?

Currently, I offer one-to-one tutoring only. This allows me to adapt each session to the individual learner.

How long are the sessions?

I offer 40-minute and 60-minute sessions. The most appropriate session length can be discussed during the initial consultation and will depend on the learner's age, needs and goals.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone or online consultation with no obligation. This gives us an opportunity to discuss the learner's needs, goals and whether my approach is likely to be a good fit. 

How to Book?

1. Get in touch
Contact me by phone or email to enquire about tutoring.

2. Arrange a free consultation
We have a brief 15-minute conversation about the learner, their maths needs and what you are hoping to achieve.

3. Agree on the arrangements
We discuss the appropriate session length, frequency and fee.

4. Schedule your sessions
A regular session time is arranged where possible.

5. Secure your booking
A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

6. Pay for your session
Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash before the session. Bank details will be provided once your booking is arranged.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Sessions require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Where sufficient notice is provided, your deposit may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment.

Late cancellations or missed sessions may result in the loss of the deposit and may be charged at the full session fee.
